In this impactful role as a Human Factor Design Engineer II, you will play a critical part in shaping innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of patients and clinicians worldwide. Leveraging human-centered design, you will ensure our solutions are intuitive, effective, and aligned with real-world clinical needs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Apply human-centered design principles to address complex challenges faced by patients and healthcare providers.
Plan and execute formative and summative usability studies in real-world settings; synthesize insights and present findings to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Develop and maintain Task Analyses (TAs) and Use Error Analyses (UEAs) to inform design and risk management activities.
Support regulatory submissions by contributing human factors documentation for FDA and EU MDR compliance.
Location: Fridley, MN
This is an on-site position and requires to be in the office 4 days/week in Fridley, MN.
Ability to travel up to: 20%
Must Have (Minimum Requirements)
To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.
Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 2 years of Human Factors Engineering experience
Or advance degree with a minimum of 0 years of experience
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
Advance degree in Human Factor Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, or closely related field is preferred
Experience with medical device standards, regulations, and compliance
Comfortable working in Figma, Miro, and Great Question (or similar tools)
