Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, goals, and organizational design for Shared Financial Services.
- Recruit, train, lead and coach a team of 25+ accounting professionals to deliver high-quality shared services.
- Oversee preparation and delivery of monthly and annual financial statements for participating chapters, ensuring accuracy and U.S. GAAP compliance.
- Manage internal controls, policy documentation, and business process development to strengthen controls and compliance.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and prepare participating chapters’ Form 990 and applicable state tax filings.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support ERP and CRM integrations and enhancements (NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and productivity/cost-savings initiatives for participating chapters.
- Research and advise on complex accounting, tax, and regulatory issues; serve as a business partner to chapters and Finance leadership.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA credential preferred.
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting standards and tax filings.
