The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and experienced professional crucial to managing the operational lifecycle of our catalog of 45-60 frontlist titles annually, as well as an extensive backlist of more than 3,000 titles. The position will report to the Associate Publisher, working closely with them, and will also work with editorial, managing editorial and production, marketing, publicity, and art to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.

Workflow and Calendar Management: Oversee and optimize the full publishing lifecycle for all frontlist and select backlist titles. This includes creating and managing seasonal calendars, setting agendas for imprint-wide meetings, and ensuring the maintenance of all publishing schedules.

Inventory and Financial Management: Work closely with Associate Publisher to oversee all aspects of inventory management for both frontlist and backlist titles, including attending weekly P&B (Print and Bind) meetings and managing remainder processes.

Oversee launch and tip sheets to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with sales requirements. Work with the central metadata team on regular metadata audits of Holt titles.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with editorial and managing editorial on maintaining schedules for manuscript submission and delivery; with art on cover and interior artwork; and with publicity and marketing on promotional materials and schedules. Manage special publishing processes internally, such as cover reveals, book club rollouts, embargoes, and stickering. Ensure all teams are aligned on project goals and timelines.
