Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical care and patient education appropriate to individual needs
- Maintain current licensure, DEA registration, and required continuing medical education
- Coordinate care and communicate treatment plans with other physicians and specialists
- Participate in scheduled group call rotations and refer patients to specialists as needed
- Follow established policies and procedures set by state and professional bodies (BPQA, AMA, HCFA, AAHS)
Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine
- Active state medical license (Maryland)
- DEA registration and any required controlled substance certification
