Job Summary
This managerial position is responsible for overseeing Auxiliary Services special projects focusing on business functions of the hardware and software systems of the unit. The position requires initiative, strong organizational skills, multitasking and time management to proactively coordinate and execute needs of the unit. Such needs include, but are not limited to: serving as system administrator; ensuring proper user access; ensuring information within those systems is up to date and accurate; and that proper resources are allocated to ensure projects are completed timely and accurately. This position will serve as a liaison among departmental staff; LSU Staff in other departments, and third-party administrators. The position will supervise full time staff.
Job Duties
Collaborate with the Auxiliary Services Director of Finance to identify needs, opportunities or potential risks in department system/hardware operations, this would include, but are not limited to card services system and copier management portal operations. Present detailed project scope, time line, and risk mitigation assessments. Establish consistent and organized documentation to support project time line and goals. Communicate preparation with internal and third party vendors for seamless execution of projects from inception to completion. Communicating potential problems to team and recommending solutions. 50%
Build and maintain relationships with LSU stakeholders and third party vendors to maintain clear direction and communication on a consistent basis throughout project life. Perform on a deadline driven schedule to ensure projects scope, objectives and deliverable are met for the department in regard to operational impact and budgetary costs. Facilitate and escalate any potential risk to supervisor. 25%
Manage project life cycle performance by presenting data reports, maintain project database, evaluate project performance and integrate changes as necessary while ensuring project scope and requirements are maintained. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, etc. Continuously improve project process and develop reporting procedures that will standardize project process across the organization. 20%
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the direct report including the supervision, training, development, and performance management. 5%

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's, 3 year experience
Specific Experience: Supervisory experience required. Project Management, IT or business related experience. LSU values skills, experience, and expertise.
