You Will:
Lead the team to build the next generation data processing platform from the ground up and migrate existing complex use cases into that system.
Work with a team of supportive and passionate software engineers.
Architect and implement systems that materialize our platform vision.
Provide operational support for our production systems
Foster a positive environment of integrity, empowerment, initiative, and teamwork.
About the Team:
The Ingestion team builds & maintains innovative solutions for ingesting data into Liveramp. We receive and process hundreds of billions of records (120TB of data) daily from various sources, validate, anonymize and normalize the data and deliver to downstream systems.
About You:
5+ years of experience in the fields of software engineering (backend)
Experience with one or more object-oriented programming skills, i.e. Java, C++, Go
Experience with platforms like Kubernetes, Containers and GCP cloud
Experience with continuous integration and automation server like Jenkins, CircleCI
Ability to lead and mentor other engineers in the team
Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks
Experience in driving scaled initiatives and engaging other engineers/teams as stakeholders
Passion for building large scale systems and writing high-performance code.
Enjoy working as part of a distributed team: smart, ethical, friendly, hard-working, and productive
Experience with best practices, working knowledge of observability principles is a plus
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GCP or another cloud provider (AWS, Azure, ...)
You love mentoring junior engineers and deploying best practices
Contributions to open source projects

The approximate annual base compensation range is $1163,000 to $191,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
