- Bachelor's or Master's in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience preparing and handling powder samples
- Hands-on experience with gas/vapor isotherm instrumentation (volumetric and/or gravimetric)
- Understanding of porosity data analysis and adsorption/desorption interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and rigorous lab documentation
Responsibilities
- Prepare and handle powder samples for porosity and other physical characterization
- Perform gas and vapor isotherm measurements using volumetric and/or gravimetric instruments
- Analyze adsorption/desorption data to extract surface area, pore size distribution, and pore volume
- Synthesize porous materials under guidance of scientific leads
- Collaborate with experimentalists and machine learning scientists to design and refine experimental workflows
- Maintain detailed lab documentation, data records, and contribute to SOPs and safety practices
- Operate and maintain lab instrumentation and troubleshoot experimental setups
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master's degree in a related discipline (preferred)
