About the Role
As Senior Counsel, Commercial, you will be a foundational member of our legal team, directly supporting Levelpath’s commercial growth and partnering across functions to drive efficient, scalable contracting processes. You’ll be hands-on with complex SaaS agreements, advise on a broad spectrum of commercial topics, and help shape a legal infrastructure that supports our rapid scale. This is an exciting opportunity to build and own legal processes in a high-growth environment.
This is a full-time position that will be based out of our San Francisco Headquarters.
What You’ll Do
Have an integral role in building out best-in-class foundational legal processes.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with a focus on enterprise SaaS contracts.
Serve as the primary legal partner to GTM teams, providing practical guidance that aligns legal risk with business goals.
Develop scalable contracting workflows, playbooks, and enablement materials that accelerate deal velocity while safeguarding the company.
Advise on data privacy, security, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal resources to move processes forward.
Work closely with Product and Engineering to integrate privacy and security principles into product development and support compliance initiatives.
What you Bring to the Table
J.D. with strong academic credentials and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
6+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, with a significant portion of that experience focused on B2B SaaS.
Expertise negotiating complex SaaS and technology agreements with sophisticated enterprise customers.
Working knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), IP ownership/licensing, and information security requirements.
Comfortable operating independently in a dynamic, high-growth setting—balancing multiple priorities and making judgment calls in real-time.
Excellent communicator who builds trust and works collaboratively across business, technical, and legal teams.

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $190,000 - $240,000
