Job Description

JOB TITLE:        Business Solutions Architect

LOCATION:        Richardson, TX   

DUTIES:

• Define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and maintain an understanding of application systems, and industry requirements.
• Define or modify procedures to solve problems considering system capacity, limitations, and desired results.
• Performs business analysis of systems and follows through the entire development life cycle.
• Define detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and validate solutions with the client.
• Gather and evaluate business requirement documents.
• Modify, maintain, and update complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) configuration and program routines.
• Work with SAP ERP systems, including SAP MM, SAP SRM, and SAP ARIBA.
• Responsible for Master Data Management and integrations with third party applications.
• Work with systems and applications related to Spend, Category Classification, Indirect Procurement, and Invoice management.
• Solve highly technical complex problems and serve as a subject matter expert on content, processes, and procedures associated with enterprise applications including any third-party systems like GEP, Resilinc, and Assent.
• Perform administrative activities for applications like GEP, CAPEX, and ServiceNow.
• Educate others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules or other applications.
• Define, test, train, implement, and support one or more functional areas within the ERP System or other applications.
• Responsible for managing the project plan, scope, and risk.
• Use Qlik and Excel, and integration tools including Informatica or MuleSoft.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree Business Analytics, Information Science, Information Technology Management, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineers, Systems Architects, Consultants or Package Specialist, or in a related/similar position.
• Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in the following:
  • defining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating solutions with the client;
  • modifying, maintaining, and updating ERP configuration and program routines;
  • and working with at least one full life cycle implementation in SAP MM, Indirect Procurement, Invoice Management and Category classification and Spend analytics.  
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 3 years of experience in the skillsets stated above.
• Experience therein to include 3 years of experience with SAP ERP systems, including SAP MM and working experience in SAP SRM and SAP ARIBA.
• Experience therein to include 2 years of experience in the following:
  • Master Data Management and third-party applications integration;
  • working with service management tools including ServiceNow;
  • and Qlik and Excel.
• Experience therein to include 1 year of experience in SAP integration with third party applications through solutions including Web Methods MuleSoft, or SAP PI/PO.
