Responsibilities
- Define and drive company-wide personalization strategy, architecture, and standards
- Design, prototype, and productionize advanced recommendation models (GNNs, causal models, bandits, deep learning)
- Solve production challenges including cold start, real-time learning, and exploration/exploitation
- Architect ML platform patterns and reusable infrastructure for teams to scale experimentation and inference
- Lead multi-quarter, cross-functional initiatives that improve product KPIs and monetization
- Mentor and technically coach senior ML engineers to raise team capability
- Establish design standards, code reviews, and operational best practices for production ML
- Represent Launch Potato externally via publications, talks, or open-source contributions
- Champion privacy-preserving personalization and responsible AI practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required

- Base salary $160,000–$250,000/year, paid semi-monthly
