Labcorp is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sr. Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Development team. This role provides critical support to our Sales, Proposal Management, and Finance departments by delivering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in driving strategic decisions through financial and commercial analysis.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with the development and analysis of commercial data to support budgeting and backlog forecasting.
Execute and track sales compensation plans, including quarterly and annual commission payouts.
Develop tools and utilize systems to enhance visibility into business performance.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support senior management decision-making.
Provide ongoing analytical support to Sales, Proposal Management, and Finance teams.
Support global Sales with periodic reporting and presentations, including:
Bi-weekly Executive Sales reports
Monthly Analytics Dashboards
Weekly Contracts Reports
Recommend improvements to reporting tools and systems to optimize data flow and performance metrics.
Perform month-end closing tasks, ensuring accurate order capture and reporting.
Contribute to integration efforts across laboratories to streamline commercial operations.
Job Requirements
A minimum of three years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree required (BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance); In the absence of a degree, a minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required.
3–5 years of direct finance experience; CRO industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong background in financial analysis and commercial reporting.
Experience working with clients and cross-functional teams.
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., algorithms, macros, pivot tables).
Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (Power BI preferred).
Exceptional math proficiency and attention to detail.
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing environments.
Demonstrated ability to innovate, drive results, and pursue process excellence.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Standard Business Hours
