Blaze is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer, to be based in their Falmouth, Maine location.  The Full Stack Web Developer will bring digital concepts to life, building responsive, engaging websites that make people stop, click, and explore. Blaze is looking for someone who loves the craft of clean, functional code but also cares deeply about the experience it creates.


Requirements of the Full Stack Web Developer:
  • Solid experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, Angular) 
  • Comfort working in and across multiple platforms and CMS (WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with web hosting across diverse business types, including experience with (or interest in) cloud services like AWS, and an understanding of core cybersecurity practices. 
  • A strong eye for detail and a desire to make things not just work but work beautifully. 
  • Curiosity about new tools, technologies, and trends—you are the type who experiments and shares what you learn. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (because collaboration is at the heart of what we do). 
  • A collaborative mindset and a sense of humor—our best work comes from people who enjoy the process. 
  • Ability to commute to the Falmouth, Maine office at least four days a week.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Web Developer:
  • Bring digital concepts to life, building responsive, engaging websites that make people stop, click, and explore. 
  • Partner with designers, strategists, and other developers to transform creative visions into seamless user experiences. 
  • Work across a mix of platforms—WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, Webflow, custom builds, and beyond—to keep projects flexible and fresh. 
  • Write clean, scalable code that looks as good under the hood as it does on the screen. 
  • Keep an eye on performance, accessibility, and usability—because the little details make the biggest difference. 
  • Communicate challenges, progress, and technical considerations clearly with the web team, helping anticipate and address potential roadblocks before they impact timelines. 
  • Collaborate in-person with our team 4 days a week—because great culture and creativity happen best when we are together.
