We are seeking a Policy Lead to drive our global policy strategy, strengthen relationships with regulators and policymakers, and position Kiln as a trusted voice in the staking and DeFi ecosystem.
The Policy Lead will spearhead Kiln’s public policy efforts across key jurisdictions. Working closely with our Legal, Compliance, and Business teams, this is a high-impact role for a candidate passionate about shaping the future of Web3.
A new hire will take on all policy-related tasks, including strategic engagement with policymakers and thought leadership. The Policy Lead will play a pivotal role in public policy outreach, industry collaborations and internal strategy alignment.
Develop and execute Kiln’s public policy strategy for staking, DeFi, and blockchain, across key jurisdictions.
Identify and implement proactive strategies on policy issues globally that affect Kiln
Engage with government, regulators and industry groups on key policy issues
Work closely with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Product, and BD) to ensure business strategies align with evolving regulations.
Draft policy white papers, consultation responses, presentations and thought leadership materials.
Monitor and analyse public policy trends to provide insights to our internal teams on regulatory and policy developments and support Kiln’s public positioning on key policy matters.
Collaborate with external advisors and trade associations to strengthen Kiln’s policy influence.
Support internal regulatory training initiatives and knowledge sharing.
At least 5+ years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs or government role.
Strong knowledge of financial services and technology
Experience engaging with law makers, regulators and trade associations.
Experience advising Business / Product and Engineering teams to operationalise policy considerations as part of their business roadmaps.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear business recommendations.
Prior experience working with DeFi, staking, or blockchain-related policy topics is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment.
Experience in public speaking, policy advocacy, or contributing to regulatory consultations is a plus.
