Khan Academy is seeking a Technical Engineering Manager to lead their Content Platform team, focusing on innovative educational tools for creators and publishers. This remote position requires an experienced leader who champions collaboration and engineers' growth while managing complex projects.
Responsibilities: Drive product delivery through people management, foster team development, collaborate across departments, ensure product architecture meets user needs, and provide supportive engineering experiences.
Skills: 4+ years in software engineering management, experience with Agile methodologies, web application architecture, diverse team management, strong communication skills, coding abilities in a player-coach role, and a passion for educational equity.
Qualifications: A background as a Senior Backend or Fullstack Engineer, proficiency in design systems and shared libraries, and familiarity with Generative AI are preferred. Strong cross-cultural competencies and a collaborative mindset are essential.

The target salary range for this position is $181,990 - $204,739.20 USD / $245,925 - $276,666.30 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary offered will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
