Founding Software Engineer

Now we’re scaling, and we’re looking for engineers who want to go deep with us. This is not a role where you’ll be a cog in a feature factory. You’ll be part of a tiny team building core systems from the ground up—everything from the interview pipeline to the AI layer to the front-end experience.

If you want to ship 0→1 things fast and own real product surface area, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Build end-to-end: You’ll ship full-stack features across our AI pipeline, recording tools, user interface, and internal ops systems.

• Shape architecture: You’ll help define foundational decisions around infrastructure, tooling, performance, and security.

• Own product experiences: You’ll work closely with the founding team to scope, prototype, and polish features used by some of the most innovative companies in the world.

• Move fast: You’ll ship MVPs quickly, get feedback, and refine. We’re looking for velocity with care—not perfection.

• Wear many hats: This is a startup. You’ll help with hiring, sprint planning, internal tooling, debugging random things, and shaping culture.

You Might Be a Fit If You…

• Have 3+ years experience building and shipping full-stack products in production

• Are comfortable with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.) and backend stacks (Node, Python, or similar)

• Have strong product instincts and love working closely with design, GTM, and end users

• Care deeply about performance, DX, and building tools that feel right

• Thrive in ambiguity and can break down complex problems into shippable code

• Are excited to be a cultural co-founder—someone who helps define how we build, communicate, and grow

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with LLMs, vector stores, or NLP tools

• Background in B2B SaaS, especially in research, design, or product tools

• Familiarity with recording/transcription/video tooling

• Prior experience as an early engineer at a startup or technical cofounder

Compensation

This is a full-time founding role with a strong salary and significant early equity. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the cap table, engineering culture, and long-term technical direction.
