Kentro is hiring a Project Manager - Senior to support a federal civilian agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and personnel management to technical and administrative personnel across multiple disciplines such as engineering, application program and systems development.
  • Is responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems.
  • Schedules and assigns work to subordinates and subcontractors and monitors progress and resolves discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements.
  • Ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.
  • Provides oversight of all aspects of field and/or task-level project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial). Will probably work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and maintains customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations.
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Recommends action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Exercises independent judgment, as well as a high-level of analytical skill, in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
  • Will be leading a portfolio of projects within the Department of Commerce (DOC) account, including overseeing multiple concurrent initiatives, aligning project goals with strategic objectives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC.

Salary Range: $160,000-$175,000. Factors influencing pay within this range include geography, market demand, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive project management experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, including managing project teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
