Skills
- Hands-on enterprise networking (Meraki, Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, F5 LTM)
- Experience with Cloudflare, Zscaler, and AWS networking/security tools
- Firewalling, intrusion prevention, proxy services, VPN and remote access
- Enterprise A/V systems management (Neat, Zoom Rooms, conference room platforms)
- Strong understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models and network topologies
- Experience with Zero Trust models, micro-segmentation, and identity-driven access
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic tools for network and A/V performance
- Automation, change control, and documentation practices
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of network and A/V engineers with clear accountability and professional development.
- Design, implement, support, and manage lifecycle of network and communications infrastructure across all locations.
- Oversee and evolve A/V technology and conference room systems (Neat, Zoom Rooms, and similar platforms) to ensure reliable user experiences.
- Advise InfraOps on network design considerations for AWS and other cloud environments.
- Optimize Zero Trust access models including identity-driven access, traffic inspection, micro-segmentation, and posture-aware connectivity.
- Manage and support network security platforms (Cloudflare, Zscaler, AWS tools, firewalls, IPS, proxy services, remote access).
- Diagnose and remediate complex network and A/V performance issues using software and hardware diagnostic tools.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, change control, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and participate in vendor management, contract review, and technology selection.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent practical experience in lieu of formal degree is accepted
- Professional network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, cloud certifications) are a plus
