As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive large-scale AI and data platform initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Compliance to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver impactful solutions. This role emphasizes strategic program leadership, stakeholder management, and translating complex technical requirements into actionable plans. You will support the advancement of AI/ML infrastructure and data platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and operational excellence. Your work will directly enable teams to deliver data-driven and AI-powered solutions while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Accountabilities:
· Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI, ML, and data platform programs, from planning through execution.
· Facilitate cross-functional workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into detailed technical and business plans.
· Manage program risks, issues, and escalations, implementing mitigation and contingency strategies.
· Drive agile ceremonies, track backlogs, sprints, and releases using Jira or similar tools.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business goals, usability, and operational standards.
· Support AI/ML and data engineering teams to deliver scalable pipelines, governance solutions, and platform enhancements.
· Mentor teams on best practices for program execution, risk management, and cross-team collaboration.
· 10+ years of technical program or project management experience, with strong focus on AI, ML, or data platform initiatives.
· Proven experience managing large-scale distributed systems, cloud data platforms, or AI/ML infrastructure.
· Strong understanding of the data lifecycle including ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and model deployment.
· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills across executive and technical teams.
· Expertise in documenting, analyzing, and managing detailed technical and business requirements.
· Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
· Skilled in risk management, decision-making, and prioritization in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Preferred: Experience in regulated industries, cloud platform architecture, and AI/ML/Databricks programs. Agile or Project Management certifications a plus.
· Competitive base salary ($170,000–$185,000 USD annually).
