This role is a senior technical leadership opportunity to define and implement security strategies across software products and AI initiatives. You will lead the design of robust security architectures, guide cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of security excellence. The position balances hands-on technical work with strategic influence, addressing complex security challenges in cloud environments, modern applications, and AI systems. You will be instrumental in embedding security throughout the development lifecycle, from threat modeling to secure coding practices, while staying ahead of emerging threats and regulatory requirements. This role directly impacts the safety and trust of users and the integrity of sensitive data across the organization.
Accountabilities:
· Lead the architecture and implementation of secure systems for software products and AI initiatives.
· Embed security practices into the software development lifecycle, including threat modeling, code reviews, and design guidance.
· Conduct technical risk assessments, vulnerability research, and security testing to proactively mitigate threats.
· Mentor engineers and security team members, promoting technical excellence and security awareness.
· Define security standards, policies, and best practices that scale across multiple products and platforms.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence security decisions and strategy.
· Stay informed on emerging threats, AI-specific security challenges, and regulatory requirements.
· Deep expertise in application security and secure software development practices.
· Experience with AI/ML security, including mitigation of risks such as data poisoning or prompt injection.
· Strong understanding of cloud environments, modern architectures, and API security.
· Hands-on experience with security tools and automation (static/dynamic analysis, monitoring, observability).
· Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence cross-functional teams toward security-first thinking.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
