Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications within a robust suite of enterprise tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to ideate and deliver solutions to complex customer needs.
• Lead or participate in agile team ceremonies and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Integrate and optimize the use of large language models (LLMs) via commercial APIs to enhance AI-powered applications.
• Guide architecture and cloud infrastructure decisions using AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Contribute to internal developer tooling and workflows to maximize team productivity and software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack and ensure high system availability.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in incident response and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript; proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React).
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product and design teams to deliver enterprise applications.
• Expertise in building cloud-native applications using serverless technologies.
• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Skilled in RESTful API design, data modeling with relational databases (especially Postgres), and database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and LLM-based applications.
• Bonus points for experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Infrastructure as Code, and data science libraries (numpy, pandas, etc.).
