We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. .Net ASP Developer to join a remote, mission-critical project supporting federal clients. In this role, you will work on large-scale, complex applications, providing Tier 3 support, developing prototypes, and ensuring seamless performance and usability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technical experts, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet operational and security standards. This role emphasizes innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced federal IT environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, and the position requires US Citizenship and clearance eligibility.

Accountabilities:

The Sr. .Net ASP Developer will manage development and support of complex applications, ensuring quality, stability, and client-focused outcomes:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale applications and on-premises systems.
  • Provide Tier 3 support and resolve critical technical issues.
  • Develop quick prototypes and enhance existing systems through upgrades, configuration, and debugging.
  • Participate in agile teams, contributing to design, code reviews, and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, offering technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security protocols, and federal IT requirements.

Candidates should have proven experience and technical expertise in .Net and federal IT environments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • US Citizenship required for federal project eligibility.
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft legacy environments, including ASP (Classic/Native), VB.NET, DLLs, and COM+.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services, IIS Server, Active Directory, ADFS, and Azure Entra.
  • Proficiency with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and SSIS packages.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Preferred: Full stack development, Java/Spring Boot experience, knowledge of SDLC, IT governance, and operations.
  • Competitive salary range: $114,441 – $150,000 USD.
  • Remote work flexibility.
