This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing software engineering team, shaping scalable and elegant products that serve a wide variety of users, from enterprises and SMBs to individual contributors. You will guide technical strategy, oversee architecture and design decisions, and ensure the timely delivery of key initiatives. This position blends people leadership with hands-on technical contribution, enabling you to coach engineers while driving high-quality outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams across Product, Design, Partnerships, and other Engineering teams is essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about building impactful solutions while growing their team.
· Lead and support a team of 6+ engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development.
· Define and drive the execution of the team’s strategy and key deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
· Provide hands-on technical leadership by guiding architecture, design, and code reviews.
· Write and review code to uphold engineering best practices and mentor teammates through direct collaboration.
· Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver complex, interdependent initiatives.
· Scale the product experience, including building robust self-service capabilities.
· 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
· Proven success in leading teams that develop and maintain applications and services.
· Strong technical background with proficiency in Typescript, Kotlin, PHP, or similar object-oriented languages.
· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, modern DevOps practices, and scalable system design.
· Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
· Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, foster collaboration, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent, full-time basis.
· Competitive salary range: $120K – $150K, based on location, skills, and experience.
