As a Sr. AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions designed to transform how contracts are created, reviewed, and managed. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, designers, and legal experts to design and implement LLM-powered features that enhance automation, accuracy, and efficiency in contract lifecycle management. This role involves driving innovation through research, experimentation, and hands-on development, while balancing code quality and rapid iteration. You will also lead proof-of-concept initiatives, integrating emerging AI technologies and agentic frameworks to solve complex technical problems. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, collaborative, and passionate about creating impactful AI-driven products in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of LLM-powered features across the platform.
• Evaluate, integrate, and optimize cutting-edge AI and machine learning capabilities, including RAG techniques and agentic frameworks.
• Take full ownership of the core codebase, ensuring maintainable, high-quality, and scalable solutions.
• Independently drive proof-of-concept initiatives and tackle wide-ranging, complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, designers, and subject matter experts to deliver high-impact AI applications.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and best practices, applying them to enhance platform functionality and performance.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Strong foundation in building and evaluating LLM-powered applications.
• Advanced programming skills with deep proficiency in Python and experience building on AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions independently.
• Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of complex systems.
• Collaborative and humble team player who contributes positively to team dynamics.
• Creative problem-solving skills and eagerness to explore novel AI approaches.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with RAG systems, agentic AI frameworks, or applied NLP in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code review, and scalable system design.
• Experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment building production-level AI solutions.
