Software Engineering Manager (Remote)

This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented engineering team, guiding the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for shaping technical strategy, driving team performance, and ensuring successful execution of the product roadmap. This position requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and technical expertise to manage day-to-day development tasks while mentoring engineers. You will collaborate across teams, make informed technical decisions, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment.

Accountabilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.
• Oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of development work to meet quarterly product roadmap commitments.
• Guide technical discussions and make effective architectural and design decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Conduct data analysis to support business requests, troubleshooting, and application performance improvements.
• Manage team tasks, resources, and performance metrics for optimal productivity and quality delivery.
• Estimate development efforts and coordinate resource allocation to meet project deadlines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in software engineering management and 6+ years designing, developing, and delivering software products.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS operations, cloud-based application deployment, and modern technical tools.
• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, OOP, TypeORM, MySQL, Git, AWS; Terraform experience is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to clearly discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
