As a Senior Software Engineer in Store Technology, you will drive the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software solutions that enhance store operations and customer experiences across a nationwide retail network. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure applications, contributing directly to operational efficiency and technology modernization. This role offers hands-on opportunities across the full technology stack, from front-end to back-end, with exposure to cloud services, mobile applications, and modern development frameworks. You will mentor junior engineers, influence technical direction, and help shape the future of in-store technology. Accountabilities:

·         Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications that improve store operations, communication, and customer experiences.

·         Monitor, troubleshoot, and correct complex software defects to ensure reliability and performance.

·         Produce concepts, prototypes, and technical solutions for digital products and services.

·         Collaborate with product, operations, and other engineering teams to optimize software performance, security, and scalability.

·         Manage and prioritize development tasks in alignment with business objectives and software roadmaps.

·         Guide junior engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to foster team growth.

·         Stay up to date with technology trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to inform development strategies.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·         3–6 years of relevant software development experience, with at least some experience coordinating or mentoring others.

·         Proven expertise in full-stack development using technologies such as .NET, React Native, Spring Boot, and Azure cloud services.

·         Strong experience in software design, debugging, fault diagnosis, and performance optimization.

·         Solid understanding of database design, legacy systems, and technical requirements gathering.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.

·         Strong collaboration, communication, and customer-focused skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
