We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative engineer to help build innovative, scalable solutions that support small and medium-sized retailers. In this role, you will design and develop high-quality software within a cross-functional Agile team, driving improvements in point-of-sale, inventory management, and analytics systems. You will play a critical part in advancing core platforms, mentoring junior developers, and helping shape the technical roadmap. Accountabilities:

• Collaborate closely with product and development teams to plan and execute software projects aligned with business needs.
• Design, code, test, and release scalable solutions using C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and .NET Core in an Agile environment.
• Implement DevOps best practices and automation to ensure continuous integration and delivery, while supporting product stability and security.
• Troubleshoot and analyze production issues using debugging tools, logs, and monitoring solutions to drive resolution and long-term improvements.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, evaluate new technologies, and prototype innovations that enhance product value and client experience.
• Maintain detailed records in development management tools, estimate timelines accurately, and ensure on-time delivery of features.
• Lead by example, coaching junior engineers, delegating tasks, and supporting team growth and shared success across functions.
• Drive organizational impact through thoughtful communication, mentoring, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.

• 5–7 years of experience with C# and JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
• 3–5 years of experience building REST API web services.
• 1–2 years working with React and .NET/.NET Core, including multi-threading and asynchronous code patterns.
• 1–2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, CosmosDB, and deploying .NET MAUI-based applications.
• Strong debugging skills using visual tools, log analysis, and reproduction of complex issues.
• Familiarity with unit testing and mocking frameworks such as XUnit, Jasmine, Moq, or Jasmine Spies.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps), version control, and package managers like NuGet.
• Working knowledge of HTTP protocols, web architecture, and async event loops.
• Preferred: Experience in retail POS and inventory management, use of tools like Application Insights, TestFlight, and Fiddler.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for teamwork and continuous improvement.
