This role offers the opportunity to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems at the intersection of AI and fintech. You will work on microservices, cloud-based platforms, and distributed systems that process millions of transactions securely and efficiently. The position requires hands-on engineering leadership, ownership of complex projects, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, innovative software products. You will contribute to architectural decisions, ensure best practices are followed, and drive the development of data pipelines, services, and tools that support growing business needs. Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend microservices using Go, Python, and/or Java.
• Develop cloud-based software products following industry best practices.
• Build systems and tools to support new products and business requirements, ensuring secure scalability for millions of transactions.
• Collaborate with teams on security, reliability, and automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues, support testing processes, and resolve technical challenges.
• Lead projects from inception to delivery, contributing architectural guidance and best practices.
• Scale and optimize data pipelines and online services for high throughput and performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of backend engineering experience building complex systems and applications.
• Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and/or Java.
• Strong database skills (Postgres, MySQL, etc.) and experience with data modeling.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Spring or Flask.
• Knowledge of containerization, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading projects, contributing to architecture, and guiding best practices in backend systems.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
