Accountabilities

• Lead the creation of exceptional product experiences in collaboration with design, product, engineering, research, and marketing teams.
• Deliver high-quality visual design, interaction design, and prototyping for web, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Work independently on end-to-end design projects, conducting research, defining scope, and advocating for user needs.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across product surfaces.
• Collaborate on projects ranging from trail discovery to navigation and growth initiatives, applying design thinking to solve complex problems.
• Provide feedback and mentorship within the design team, promoting a culture of craft and collaboration.
• Leverage data, usability testing, and research insights to inform design decisions and prioritize projects effectively.

• 5–7 years of product design experience on consumer-facing web and mobile (iOS/Android) products.
• Exceptional design craft across UX, visual, and interaction design with strong product sensibility.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product management and engineering while independently delivering end-to-end design solutions.
• Data-driven mindset using metrics, research, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Experience with inclusive design practices, including accessibility, internationalization, and multi-language considerations.
• Self-motivated, open-minded team player who seeks feedback and demonstrates humility and empathy.
• Passion for enhancing outdoor experiences through design.
• AI native: comfortable leveraging AI tools to augment creativity, productivity, and decision-making.
• Nice to have: experience across diverse companies or agencies, growth design, or growth-focused projects.

• Competitive salary: $157,500 – $177,500 per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
