As a Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and safeguarding a rapidly expanding technology organization’s infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing security processes while helping to build and implement SOC1 & SOC2 compliance frameworks. Working closely with IT, Engineering, and Compliance teams, you’ll develop vulnerability management systems, strengthen data protection, and drive continuous improvement in the company’s security posture. Accountabilities:

• Design and implement vulnerability management workflows across multiple systems and environments.
• Develop automations to enhance security workflows, threat detection, and data analytics.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of SOC2 compliance frameworks and SOX controls.
• Draft and maintain security policies, procedures, and monitoring standards.
• Lead and support incident response investigations, remediation, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with IT teams to ensure least privilege access and implement DLP controls.
• Conduct penetration testing and simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to AI initiatives designed to strengthen security and IT efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to advance security posture and performance.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering, preferably within SOC2 and SOX environments.
• Proven experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation strategies.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with automation and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC2, SOX, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and EDR solutions.

• Competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $177,000, depending on experience and location.
