SailPoint Engineer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a skilled SailPoint Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, cloud-based, and web-based applications while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders. You will provide expert guidance on SailPoint implementations, ensure operational excellence, and participate in full software development lifecycle activities. The position encourages continuous learning, problem-solving, and contributing to innovative IAM solutions that enhance security and compliance across the organization.

Accountabilities

·         Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and document SailPoint and related software applications.

·         Implement enterprise IAM solutions, including strategy, architecture, and integration with other systems.

·         Participate in peer code and design reviews, and contribute to improving development standards and procedures.

·         Conduct problem analysis, document findings, and propose creative technical solutions.

·         Coordinate end-to-end runs, provide production support, and suggest enhancements to existing applications.

·         Work with technical and business users to gather requirements and implement solutions.

·         Remediate security, accessibility (Section 508), performance, and user experience issues as they arise.

·         Maintain up-to-date documentation for solutions, related tools, and business processes.

·         U.S. citizenship is required.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·         Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade IAM or cloud/web-based applications.

·         Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ, including strategy, design, implementation, and operations.

·         Experience with other programming languages and development tools.

·         Strong understanding of IAM principles and ability to implement them in enterprise solutions.

·         Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM solutions, tools, and processes.

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance; candidates with active Public Trust or Suitability are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Familiarity with key IAM and FICAM policies, including NIST 800-63-3, OMB M-19-17, and HSPD-12.

·         Experience with cloud provider services (AWS or Azure) and DevSecOps tools and processes.

·         Broad knowledge of information system technologies and willingness to learn new technologies.

Understanding of SDLC processes, software development standards, and procedures

·         Annual salary range: $102,000 – $170,000, depending on experience, skills, and certifications.
