Product Designer (Contract) - job 2 of 2

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Designer in US or Canada.

The Product Designer will play a key role in shaping intuitive and impactful experiences for complex B2B SaaS products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, participating in the full product development lifecycle. This role involves solving challenging design problems, iterating rapidly, and delivering user-facing features that improve customer experience. Ideal candidates are skilled in both UI and UX, proficient with design tools like Figma, and have a deep understanding of creating scalable, elegant, and technically feasible design solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities

• Create and implement design solutions for complex problems using wireframes, storyboards, mockups, prototypes, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct and facilitate user research, usability testing, and validation to inform design decisions.
• Analyze data and customer feedback to support product and design strategies.
• Participate in design reviews, provide constructive critiques, and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the platform and overall user experience.
• Develop expertise in the product, its users, and relevant processes to inform design strategy.

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer for B2B SaaS products.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, components, and variants.
• Strong understanding of design principles, especially simplicity, consistency, and usability.
• Ability to reduce complex problems into scalable and user-friendly solutions.
• Knowledge of front-end development constraints and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying ideas via Slack, Loom, and documentation tools.
• Proven experience in either UI or UX design for SaaS products.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and explore innovative solutions beyond comfort zones.
