This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of NTT DATA. We are currently looking for an IT - Digital Engineering-Software Architect in St. Louis, MO.

In this leadership role, you will oversee a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on building and supporting scalable solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud and Data Cloud. Working closely with product teams and stakeholders, you will design and implement robust architectures while promoting a high standard of technical excellence and agile delivery. The role combines hands-on solutioning with mentorship and strategic input, ideal for a collaborative, growth-oriented leader passionate about innovation and impact in a remote work environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers, Admins, and QA Analysts, fostering a culture of quality, learning, and collaboration.
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs and platform best practices, including process flows and ERDs.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders, join discovery sessions, and communicate technical feasibility clearly.
  • Oversee documentation, peer reviews, code quality, and adherence to deployment processes using tools like Copado.
  • Provide technical leadership for all release activities, from readiness reviews to deployment and production support.
  • Coordinate functional and automated testing with QA teams and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Contribute to technical strategy, product roadmaps, and engineering reports while championing continuous improvement.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure alignment with industry standards and platform innovation.
  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Health Cloud, including advanced configuration and coding.
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture, relational databases, APIs, and scalable solution design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile development, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Copado.
  • Required Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Data or Application Architect.
  • Preferred: Additional Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud), strategic mindset, and proven mentoring skills.
  • Passion for delivering value through technology and fostering inclusive, collaborative team dynamics.
  • Competitive pay: $80.00–$84.00/hour, depending on experience and location.
