In this role, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling the systems that power millions of customer interactions. You will guide technical execution, foster collaboration across key stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of secure, compliant, and high-performing solutions. Your leadership will shape the roadmap, align cross-functional efforts, and create a culture of clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Accountabilities
• Lead and coach a team of engineers through clear expectations, continuous feedback, and strong accountability.
• Drive high-quality delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure systems supporting both self-serve and enterprise customers.
• Mentor team members, support career development, and create opportunities for growth and internal progression.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Finance to align priorities, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Translate business objectives into actionable engineering plans, ensuring clarity of goals and reasoning.
• Communicate transparently on progress, risks, and trade-offs while removing blockers and enabling execution.
• Foster a culture of ownership, empowering engineers to make informed decisions and take initiative.
• Maintain high technical standards, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and strong engineering practices.
• Continuously optimize team workflows, documentation, and release processes for greater efficiency and clarity.
• Lead with empathy and stability, supporting the team as priorities evolve in a dynamic environment.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager driving teams toward impactful, high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bring clarity to complex situations and align technical and business partners.
• Solid technical fluency with the ability to understand architecture, challenge assumptions, and guide engineering decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to build ownership, accountability, and confidence within engineering teams.
