This role offers the opportunity to drive reliability, scalability, and performance across a high-volume, cloud-based platform. You will work closely with software engineering teams to provision, maintain, and optimize infrastructure while ensuring security and operational excellence. Your contributions will directly impact system availability, deployment speed, and developer productivity, making a tangible difference to business-critical operations. This position combines hands-on cloud and container management with automation, monitoring, and collaboration to solve complex infrastructure challenges. You will play a key role in implementing best practices, improving processes, and enhancing overall platform performance. Accountabilities

• Provision, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure using GCP, including GKE clusters, GCE instances, and Google Storage.
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and configuration management tools.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.
• Build and optimize applications in cloud and containerized environments, such as Kubernetes.
• Develop automation tools and scripts for monitoring, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to evaluate performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for repeatable tasks.
• Assess and recommend improvements to infrastructure security and compliance.

• 3-5 years of experience with GCP and Linux Systems Administration.
• Strong expertise with GCP services and cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with automation and scripting, particularly Python.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for coding, automation, or operational improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools is a plus.
