Data Engineer/Lead Analyst (Remote - US)

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Python within cloud ecosystems such as Databricks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into scalable engineering solutions.
• Develop and deploy data models, architecture, and reporting solutions in cloud platforms like Snowflake.
• Monitor pipeline performance and implement optimizations to ensure reliability and scalability across large datasets.
• Support data governance, version control, and metadata management practices to maintain high-quality, secure datasets.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainable and high-quality solutions.
• Research and propose new tools or methods to improve data engineering workflows and enhance automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, modeling, and pipeline design principles.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical data and a desire to make an impact through data-driven solutions.
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) for remote work.

• Annual salary range: $80,400 - $134,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.
