Data Architect - Managed Services

We are seeking a Data Architect to join a dynamic Managed Services team, delivering architecture, support, and optimization for client data platforms. In this role, you will design and implement advanced data solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and analytics pipelines, ensuring robust performance and compliance across industries. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with clients to address challenges, improve systems, and enhance data-driven decision-making. This role demands both deep technical expertise and strong consulting skills to drive client success. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment alongside highly skilled professionals.

• Accountabilities:
• Lead the support and optimization of client Azure Data Platform and Power BI environments, addressing escalations and resolving incidents efficiently.
• Design, implement, and advise on solutions using Azure tools such as Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Power BI.
• Develop and deploy data pipelines, models, and AI-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring best practices in architecture, design, and delivery.
• Maintain thorough documentation, communicate status updates, and escalate issues as needed.
• Build strong client relationships, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
• Support internal process enhancements and contribute to knowledge-sharing communities.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and certification.
• 3+ years of experience with data and business intelligence solutions on Microsoft tools (ADF, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI) or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services, data engineering, and analytics frameworks.
• Expertise in SQL, Spark SQL, orchestration tools, and managing large-scale codebases.
• Familiarity with healthcare data environments (Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Health Catalyst, EHR, claims) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while mentoring others.
