Your Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend microservices for clinical and analytics applications hosted in the cloud
• Implement robust, scalable solutions using Java (backend), Angular (frontend), and relational databases
• Work closely with data engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in DevOps and Agile workflows using tools such as Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and service reliability meet enterprise standards
• Engage in root cause analysis and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud configuration management

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience or 2+ years coding applications in high-level languages such as Java, Go, C#, or Python
• Strong experience with Java back-end and Angular front-end development
• Proficiency in working with relational databases and cloud environments, particularly Azure
• Understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps models
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with big data, analytics, or data warehousing solutions
• Hands-on experience with healthcare software or regulated environments
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform in addition to Azure
• Experience developing distributed systems or microservices architectures

Education & Certifications You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Internship experience or hands-on software development in a team setting
• Formal training or certifications in Azure or modern development frameworks is a plus
