You have a passion for User Experience, Data Analysis and/or Digital Product Management and want to specialize in one of these areas

Who will you work with?

You will work with UX researchers, web designers, marketers, engineers, product managers, executives and analytics teams to help define and implement a world-class A/B testing process

What type of work can you expect to do in Digital at American Express?

·    Co-create the US Acquisition Conversion Experience Optimization program vision, strategy, roadmap, and growth opportunities for Small Business

  • Create and manage experiments from concept to launch
  • Help generate testable hypotheses.
  • Ability to reconcile varying needs across customers and partners; assemble the information, assess tradeoffs and risks, gain consensus, make an informed decision, and support that decision with compelling evidence
  • Be a passionate advocate for the customer, grounding ideas in data driven solutions by partnering with our customer research team to incorporate user insights and principles throughout the process.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in digital space and ability to collaborate with technology partners
  • Ability to manage many cross functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills
  • Willing to do things differently, experiment, and share fresh perspectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present ideas clearly
  • Comfortable with constructive conflict
  • Prior industry experience in product management would be preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree [preferably STEM but not required]

 

Nice-to-have experience with any of the following:

  • Application of scientific method
  • Digital experimentation (A/B, multivariate multi-armed bandit, etc…)
  • JIRA (or similar)
  • Confluence (or similar)
  • Data Analysis in Python/R
  • SQL: selecting, grouping, and analyzing
  • Knowledge of analytical applications like Adobe Analytics
  • Programming experience in any language
  • Statistics fundamentals
  • Behavioral science concepts

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
