I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. 

• Create custom applications, automate workflows, and integrate with existing legacy systems to meet government and public service needs. 
• Ensure software adheres to strict federal, state, and local regulations, implementing robust security measures and following standards.
• Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for deployed software solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, process procedures, and configuration information for audits and end-users. 
• Work closely with government clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, discuss technical challenges, and provide updates. 
• Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience with Java or C++ software development; or Software Testing; or Software Integration.
• Experience with using, developing SW, and creating scripts on Linux.
• Full-stack web development experience preferred to include experience with Angluar/Cesium/JWT Authentication/typescript/HTML/CSS/Node.js.
• Experience with Eclipse, git, Jenkins, maven, Jira, Confluence.
• Hands on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies and automated test tools.
• Wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
