Frontend Software Engineer - job 1 of 2

The successful candidate will be working on the continuous development of our multiple proprietary RegTech software solutions, in an Agile environment. The engineer will be contributing to continuously improve the Frontend of our applications using the Vue framework and/or other frameworks. 

What you’ll do

• You'll collaborate with a dynamic development team to advance Vue-based applications and contribute to the IQ-EQ R&D frontend.
• You'll develop and maintain modular, reusable components while ensuring code quality through unit testing and clear documentation.
• You'll resolve bugs and issues within the internal codebase, demonstrating strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• You'll write efficient, well-structured, and testable code aligned with industry best practices and security standards.
• You'll stay informed about evolving security risks and implement appropriate solutions to safeguard the software.

• The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($80,000-$100,000). 

• You are located in eastern time zone, able to work 8am-5pm ET, and have 4+ years of commercial experience in software development using Vue.js or similar frameworks like React.
• You understand modern JavaScript, including its quirks and workarounds, and are proficient with tools like PNPM, TypeScript, and Vite.
• You are skilled in frontend state management solutions such as Vuex or Pinia, and have experience consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous requests.
• You possess strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with bonus experience in CSS precompilers like SASS or LESS, and are familiar with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• You thrive in Agile/Scrum environments and consistently apply best practices in frontend development.
