FP&A Lead
Skills
- 5–8 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or growth investing, preferably at high-growth SaaS or hardware-enabled software companies.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills with experience building three-statement models.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, NRR) and unit-economics analysis.
- Comfort working with large datasets and modern FP&A/accounting tools; proficiency with Excel and SQL expected.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the three-statement financial model, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning scenarios.
- Lead monthly and quarterly budget vs. actual analysis and partner with department heads to identify and address variances.
- Analyze unit economics (LTV/CAC, payback, gross margin) across hardware and SaaS revenue streams to inform pricing and go-to-market strategy.
- Perform ad-hoc strategic analyses using internal datasets to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Prepare board- and investor-ready presentation materials that clearly communicate financial narratives and key metrics.
- Support working-capital and inventory finance analysis when evaluating hardware supply chain and cost drivers.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
- MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
