- 3+ years professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
- Deep understanding of large-scale systems, big data infrastructure, and high-performance storage
- Experience working closely with researchers or traders and supporting exploratory workflows
- Comfort with rapid prototyping and fast iteration cycles
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable systems for compute, data access, and research tooling
- Develop infrastructure to schedule and run large-scale jobs and manage complex storage challenges
- Collaborate with researchers and traders to understand workflows and rapidly prototype solutions
- Support global teams by contributing to tools and systems used across multiple regions
- Iterate quickly on tools based on user feedback and usage patterns to improve usability and performance
- Ensure reliable access to historical reference data and market data
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Master's degree in a relevant field (advantageous)
- Equivalent industry experience considered in lieu of formal degree
