Skills
- Proven experience shipping AI/ML-powered products (ideally with RAG and tool calling).
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and data fluency.
- Experience with production services on AWS and relational databases (Postgres).
- Familiarity with frontend stacks (React, TypeScript) to collaborate on end-to-end features.
- Focus on testing, security, observability, and operational maturity.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship end-to-end AI features including retrieval, tool calling, and UI integrations.
- Architect scalable, reliable systems to handle high data volumes and complex workflows.
- Improve grounding, citations, and evaluation to make AI outputs auditable and trustworthy.
- Optimize latency, cost, and observability for production AI features.
- Collaborate with Product and Design from discovery through iteration to shape product and strategy.
- Prototype solutions, iterate based on feedback, and drive projects from concept to production.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfortable with continuous learning and technical upskilling in AI-related areas.
