🔍 What we're looking for: Humata Health Inc. is seeking a a Product Manager to lead our payer connectivity initiatives. You’ll drive the strategy and execution behind how providers connect with payers, shaping the infrastructure that makes prior authorization workflows more seamless.
What you’ll do:
Understand workflows: engage with provider and payer leaders to uncover gaps and map how connectivity impacts daily operations.
Shape the roadmap: translate standards, market signals, and customer feedback into a clear vision for payer integrations.
Collaborate with engineering: partner with developers to prioritize and deliver scalable, compliant features.
Define requirements: synthesize inputs across teams and stakeholders into actionable specs and user stories.
Own the lifecycle: drive features from ideation through launch and adoption, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory needs.
Track industry shifts: stay ahead of evolving interoperability rules.
Flex as needed: contribute to analytics, enablement, or positioning in a fast-paced startup environment.
Who you are:
3+ years in product management, ideally in healthcare, EDI, or payer/provider integrations.
Customer-first mindset: skilled at turning payer complexity into simple provider experiences.
Technical fluency: comfortable with APIs, FHIR, X12 transactions, and portal automation.
Clear communicator: align engineers, customers, and leadership on shared goals.
Data-driven & self-starter: use metrics and insights to guide priorities; work independently while staying aligned.
Bonus points:
Experience with payers, clearinghouses, or rev cycle systems.
Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or other EHR connectivity models.
Familiarity with Da Vinci FHIR.
