Skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite or similar)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- Account reconciliations and month-end close experience
- Preparation of journal entries and fixed asset accounting
- Experience supporting audits and preparing audit deliverables
- Familiarity with state and local tax filings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective cross-functional communication
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid amortization, and fixed asset depreciation
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity
- Execute timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for year-end reporting and audits
- Apply US GAAP to analyze and deliver accurate financial reports
- Support design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting
- Prepare and file various state and local tax forms and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, FP&A, and Legal to support internal stakeholder needs
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting
- Perform ad-hoc projects to support cross-functional finance initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Relevant accounting coursework or certifications a plus
