Senior Software Engineer – Self Check In

Job Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to building next-generation Patient Self Check-in features. As part of our engineering team, you will help create solutions that streamline the check-in process for healthcare providers and their patients, improving efficiency and accuracy. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level developer with full-stack experience, particularly in public and private cloud environments, to work in the healthcare space.

The Team:

We are developing cutting-edge online patient check-in solutions that enhance the accuracy and streamline the experience for providers and patients. You’ll be working in a collaborative environment to develop code that will improve the healthcare experience for millions of patients. As a front-end-focused developer, you’ll contribute to the success of a full-stack team, creating scalable and high-performing APIs while following agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Write, debug, and deploy code to production, ensuring timely fixes and improvements.
• Collaborate with an Agile team of Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Experience Designers.
• Follow the “Definition of Done” (DoD) for each sprint, including unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Contribute to feature development and quickly rollout new updates for user feedback.
• Ensure code quality through best practices in coding and testing.

Ideal Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with product development expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in web application development with a focus on the front-end (MicroUI architecture, responsive designs).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (experience with hooks, portals, etc., is a plus).
• Ability to write clean, performant, and scalable code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins and Git/Bitbucket.
