District Retail Marketing Manager

A growing national home improvement brand is seeking a District Retail Marketing Manager to oversee teams of retail marketers across ten area store locations. The ideal candidate will have multi-unit retail management experience, strong local recruiting skills, and the ability to lead multiple teams of lead generators. Sales experience is a plus. This position requires up to 50% local travel and weekend availability.


The District Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing a retail marketing team to build brand awareness and generate sales leads through strategic retail partnerships. This leader will manage both people and processes to drive operational excellence, meet lead generation targets, and support the organization’s growth.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, train, and coach retail marketers to meet and exceed established lead generation KPIs.
  • Develop and execute retail-based marketing initiatives to attract customers and generate leads.
  • Plan and manage team schedules across multiple retail partner locations.
  • Oversee budgeting and staffing for assigned retail affiliates.
  • Ensure proper setup, breakdown, and maintenance of marketing materials and displays.
  • Collaborate with operations and installation teams to strengthen brand presence in the local market.
  • Track, analyze, and report retail metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing retail marketers while fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Maintain clear communication and operational alignment across the district.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
  • 2+ years of successful lead generation and team management experience in direct-to-consumer industries.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage staff across multiple locations.
  • Experience with large-scale budgeting and operational planning.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 50% and work evenings/weekends as needed.
