Technical Support Engineer Manager

HackerRank builds developer hiring and upskilling solutions used by leading companies to hire based on skill. We are looking for a hands-on Technical Support Engineer Manager to lead an AMER L2 team, resolve complex integrations, drive automation and AI initiatives, and improve operational excellence across support and partner teams.

Skills

Proven technical support leadership and people management
Strong operational rigor and process optimization
Hands-on familiarity with APIs, developer tools, and web applications
Experience driving automation and AI in support workflows
Effective cross-functional communication and escalation management
Ability to operate in complex and ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Support Engineers based in AMER.
Own complex issue resolution and escalate handling, jumping into incidents as needed.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM to resolve systemic issues and implement automation.
Drive operational improvements to increase team efficiency and service quality.
Implement metrics, playbooks, and processes to scale support and reduce repeat incidents.
Promote use of AI and automation to streamline support workflows and integrations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Advanced degree or certifications a plus but not required
