Strategic Security Advisor - Southeast region (Remote)
Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity programs, maturity models, and operational alignment
- Business acumen to translate technical concepts into executive-level insights
- Experience facilitating workshops and executive-level briefings
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management across Sales, Architects, and Delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with GRC frameworks and compliance obligations
- Experience managing vendor relationships and partner alliances
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to client leadership to understand objectives, maturity, and long-term goals
- Lead rationalization of client cybersecurity programs across people, process, and technology
- Drive alignment of solutions to client maturity models and enterprise priorities
- Support account planning with Sales and coordinate engagement strategy with Presales and Architects
- Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and Lunch & Learn events to assess needs and provide guidance
- Provide GRC-aligned advisory for compliance, governance, and risk impacts
- Coordinate with service delivery and vendor partners to define outcomes and ensure continuity from presales to delivery
- Document and socialize client requirements, roadmaps, and strategic plans
- Advocate internally for client requirements and ensure appropriate technical and delivery resources are assigned
- Travel up to ~40% within the assigned market (TN, AL, MS)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred
- Graduate degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous but not required
