Skills
- Deep expertise with Shopify Plus, Liquid, and Shopify theme/app architecture.
- Strong experience with React and Next.js for headless or hybrid storefronts.
- Proficient in Node.js and server-side integrations (REST and GraphQL).
- Front-end skills: Tailwind, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality practices.
- Familiarity with page builders (Replo, Builder.io) and headless commerce patterns.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy major front-end and back-end features across Shopify Plus stores (membership portals, bundle builders, internationalization, etc.).
- Design and implement reusable components, shared infrastructure, and developer tooling to accelerate brand rollouts and experimentation.
- Ensure site performance, SEO/GEO readiness, accessibility, and uptime using analytics and monitoring tools.
- Build and maintain integrations between Shopify Plus and backend systems (CRM, CDP, order management, fulfillment).
- Drive the technical roadmap: estimate work, surface dependencies, and align with Ecom, Growth, and Design on milestones.
- Establish engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and clear documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Design and CRO to prototype, test, and iterate on conversion-driving experiences.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant ongoing learning or certifications in web development, cloud, or e-commerce platforms preferred.
